Country Living Approved Artisan 2026 badge awarded to independent artisan makers recognised for craftsmanship and handmade quality.

We are delighted to share that Village Ceramics & Crafts has been featured in the June 2026 issue of Country Living magazine as part of their beautifully curated Artisan Collective section.

Village Ceramics & Crafts featured in the Country Living Artisan Collective 2026 showcasing handcrafted Lincolnshire ceramics and kiln-formed glass by Lin and Ian Jeffery.

To see our work included amongst such a talented collection of independent British makers feels incredibly special. As a small rural studio based in Lincolnshire, moments like this are a real reminder of why we do what we do — creating handcrafted ceramics and kiln-formed glass slowly, thoughtfully and entirely by hand.

The feature highlights the heart of our work: one-off decorative ceramics inspired by texture, fire, movement and the natural imperfections that make handmade pieces so distinctive. Every vessel, bowl and sculptural form that leaves our studio carries the marks of its making, whether through the dramatic crackle and smoke patterns of raku firing or the organic surfaces created through our hand-building process.

Country Living’s focus on craftsmanship, authenticity and traditional skills makes the Artisan Collective a particularly meaningful place for us to appear. We have always believed that handmade objects bring warmth and individuality into the home in a way mass-produced items simply cannot. Seeing that ethos celebrated in the pages of such an iconic magazine is both humbling and encouraging.

Our inclusion also reflects the growing appreciation for slow craft and artisan-made interiors — pieces with character, story and soul. In a world increasingly dominated by fast production, we remain committed to creating work that is tactile, individual and deeply connected to traditional making techniques.

We would like to say a heartfelt thank you to Country Living for including us, and to
