Horizon Flow is an elegant kiln-cast glass sculpture that captures the moment where sea and sky converge in molten form. Vertical streams of cobalt blue, amber, and crystal-clear Bullseye glass flow side by side, their motion frozen mid-crest — a visual symphony of balance and light.

Each strip of glass is hand-cut and precisely arranged before being cast in the kiln, where heat and gravity coax them into graceful unity. Along one edge, the surface bears a natural iron-rich patination, a subtle, rusty bronze hue formed after firing — a tactile reminder of the elemental process that gives birth to glass itself. This raw, earthy texture contrasts beautifully with the luminous, polished face, grounding the piece in both fire and nature.

Placed near natural light, Horizon Flow transforms throughout the day — amber tones glow with warmth, blues deepen into oceanic calm, and the glass refracts delicate waves of colour across surrounding surfaces. It’s a sculpture that moves with the light, embodying stillness and energy in equal measure.

A testament to artistry and collaboration, Horizon Flow brings together the craftsmanship of Willoughton Glass and Village Ceramics & Crafts, merging contemporary design with the timeless alchemy of kiln-cast glass.
